The Thank Tank
A collecion of nine personal thank yous from prominent Australians such as Myf Warhurst, Akira Isogawa and Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore, created to inspire people say thankyou. I directed, produced and designed the concept. The Thank Tank is part of an initiative called 'Change the World in 5 minutes' which is all about showing how small actions can make a big positive difference. Got someone to thank? Head to the SBS website and add your thanks to the tank!

Ayuquila River - UN University Online Learning
I spent 6 months in Tokyo working with a small team to create an environmental case study about the Ayuquila River in Mexico. To help learners understand processes and events in this e-case study I illustrated and created a series of animations. To get a taste of them check out these examples: Biosphere Reserve | Landuse | Poverty Levels

Xin Xin - Digital Allsorts
I was one of six people commissioned by the Noise festival to create
an online work exploring ideas of cultural identity in Australia.
My aim was to make an interactive animation treating language like
a living breathing entity that can both torment and inspire. Language
is more than just a tool for communication, it can inform the way
you see the world in unexpected ways.

China - Rules of Entry
I spent 2 months in Beijing China (see more in 'thinking - Chunks' section) and was struck by the difference in Australian people's perception of a rigid police-like monotone society and the experience I had - meeting so many interesting characters and seeing a lot of diversity and life. I began creating this animation which dealt with this disparity. Unfortunately I didn't get very far! It's probably not even 1/4 finished but here it is anyway. The music is from a Chinese punk band I interviewed - Hang on The Box. launch

Control Arms (Million Faces) - Oxfam Japan
Control Arms is a global campaign focused on tighter regulations for the weapons industry. The existing UK style for the campaign was bold with violent imagery to push the point home. To appeal to the Japanese people, we modified this 'in-your-face' approach to create a much friendlier style. I created a flash banner to emphasize the idea of joining a community to support the campaign.

+ This presentation was not designed for web download! It's 1024 x 768 and nearly 2Mb! If you can handle it launch the animation |

25 and under) to submit their creative work, with the chance to win

Rock Eisteddfod
I worked with NSW Health to create a 30 second flash animation to encourage a health 'Smoke Free' lifestyle for teenagers. This was screened at all NSW Rock Eisteddfod competitions, including the final at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. The characters had already been illustrated, so it was my job to bring them to life.
