triple j Unearthed
I'm currently producing a website to encourage unsigned Australian music. We spent a good six months setting the whole site up and it launched in August 2006. It's been a huge success. In less than a year over 11 thousand artists have put their music up and over 2.5 million tracks are regularly streamed each month. I love that Australian music is thriving! The site also won the 'Best of the Best' category in the AIMIA awards in 2007 - I was gobsmacked. www.triplejunearthed.com |

Chunks - Chinese Punks
Supported by the Australia-China Council, I spent a fascinating 2 months in Beijing researching the local punk music scene. To document my experiences I published an article for the Melbourne street magazine 'Stu'.

I also produced and recorded a short radio story about the Chunks for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) program Global village. |

United Nations China - UNV
I worked with the UN Volunteers team in China to develop, design and build
a new website that could be easily updated. We focused on making assignment
information easy to obtain, giving more prominence to current news
and events, and also tried to bring a more personal and human feel
to the site through profiles of current UNV's. The site had to be bilingual and visually
appeal to Chinese people.

Chain Reaction - jmag article
Through triplejunearthed.com we have 'unearthed' over 20 musicians over the past year. We give several diferent opportunities for unsigned artists including the chance to perform at major music festivals, be professionally re-recorded or support international artists. I interviewed several of the winners and wrote a 350 word article for jmag to let people in on what it feels like to win an Unearthed competition. |

FLY TV - ABC Digital
I was brought on board to breathe some life into the FLY TV website
which had been running for over a year but with limited input. I worked
closely with the Fly TV team and ABC New Media and expanded the site
focusing on encouraging community. In the short time available several
competitions were run, new forums, polls and guestbooks were set up,
live chats with bands were run after the Saturday show and audio interviews,
transcripts, and reviews were made available online. In less than
three months the hits increased from 12,000/week to 35,000/week.

Australian Indigenous Health Promotion Network
I worked with Sydney University to develop branding
and a website for the Australian Indigenous Health Promotion Network.
The website aims to encourage increased debate and activism on policy
for Indigneous Health.
